I wasn't really sure how to interpret Quirky, so was delighted when another member of the group asked the exact same question. It seems that the mani needed to be a bit off the wall, unusual, not something I'd usually wear.
So this is what I came up with!!!
Polka dot blouses on my nails - I think they fulfil the Quirky criteria!!! The mani was inspired by a photo I saw on Instagram by @sensationails4u.
I started the mani with Glisten and Glow Stuck on Blu base coat then used sticky hole reinforcements to create the arc above the cuticle line. Next I used Ciate Power Dressing, the polish that kicked off my whole nail polish addiction!!! Once dry, I used Konad stamping polish in White to create the polka dots (using a dotting tool) and the collars (using a fine brush). I finished off with my "go to" top coat, Glisten and Glow HK Girl.
I'm really pleased with the result - and although they didn't stay on my fingers for long, I loved the challenge - Q is for Quirky.
Xoxo
